Artistic Photography

Forms and Composition / Lighting and Studio / Portrait and Subject Photography / Building Photography / Modell and Sociophotography / Magic of Black & White Photography

In this chapter I would like to share with you some thoughts on the artistic approach to photography. I will talk about some of the different areas of this branch of photography, such as portraiture, object photography and, for example, photography of buildings. A photograph becomes artistic by the level of the used tools. It is therefore of the utmost importance that the photographer understands and knows how to use compositional tools, knows the forms and learns to guide the viewer's eye through the image. The right lighting can nurture, conceal, highlight and even dramatise. Join me on this journey of discovery as we continue to add more content, feel free to click on a subject image.
